Kids are pretty competitive, but none more so than sibling rivalry. I and my sister were always trying to beat the other at some game or other. There was 13 months between us, but that didn’t stop the hunger to be the best.
Whether racing on foot or bike, trying to get our parents to give us the choice of TV program or anything to prove we were the best, we did it.
So picture the scenario, we have a new baby brother. We want to prove who is the ultimate champion at everything. So we sit our baby brother in the middle of the room and rush to opposite ends.
We then went on to call to him. That’s right; this was the game of seeing who our baby brother loved the most. Whoever he would crawl to meant they were the best! Looking back it sounds more like a case of child cruelty, but I can assure you the rules were all abided by in accordance with the Martin and Julie official games treaty of 1975.
Now if you were to ask who the victor was, I cannot seriously remember. We both caught up with each other the other day and discussed this in length. She seemed to remember a different version to myself. So I tell you what, you decide!
